What a team licence is for
Every product here ships under a single-user licence. One person, unlimited projects, including paid client work. That licence is deliberately generous about *projects* and deliberately strict about *people*: the files may not be shared across a team, an agency, or an organisation.
A team licence changes one thing — how many named people may hold and use the files directly. Nothing else about the licence changes.
The distinction that matters
Most enquiries about this turn out to be one of the two things below. They are not the same:
| Situation | What you need |
|---|---|
| One person runs the workflows and builds sites with them, including for paying clients — any number of clients, any number of sites | The single-user licence you already have. Nothing further to buy. |
| Several people at your organisation each open the files, run the prompts, and adapt the templates | A team licence with a seat for each of them |
Put the other way round:
- Seats are people, not websites. Three seats do not mean three client
sites. One seat already covers unlimited sites.
- Client work is already allowed on a single-user licence, and material you
adapt for a specific client deliverable may go to that client as part of the work product.
- A team licence is not a redistribution licence. It does not permit
resale, public posting, repackaging, or handing the bundle to clients as a standing resource.
- Seats are named. A licence is per person, not a floating pool, and not a
shared login.
Seats and what they cover
A team licence covers one product or bundle — the one you choose — for the number of named users you buy. It is a one-time purchase, like the individual licence, with the same access to same-major-version updates.
<table class="sbs-offer__seats"> <thead><tr><th>Option</th><th>Named users</th><th>Covers</th></tr></thead> <tbody> <tr><td>Small team</td><td>3</td><td>One product, or the Complete Site Builder Stack</td></tr> <tr><td>Team</td><td>5</td><td>One product, or the Complete Site Builder Stack</td></tr> <tr><td>Larger organisation</td><td>6 or more</td><td>Quoted on the products you name</td></tr> </tbody> </table>
The Complete Site Builder Stack is the first three systems — Launch, SEO & Website Audit, Conversion & Revenue — as three downloads on one order. It is not the full catalogue: the Operations, Shopify Automation, Migration and Agency systems are separate products, and a team licence for any of them is quoted the same way.
Pricing
Team pricing is quoted on request, not published here. What we can tell you before you ask is the baseline it starts from: the published single-user price for the product you want, multiplied by the number of seats. Nothing on this page claims a discount, because no multi-seat price has been set yet — quoting a saving before there is a price to save against would be inventing one.
If you tell us the product and the seat count, you get a written quote with the terms attached, and you decide from there.
How a team licence is delivered
- You send the request below: product or bundle, number of seats, who to
invoice.
- We reply with a quote and the team terms — a short addendum that applies to
the team purchase only and changes nothing about any licence you already hold.
- On acceptance we raise the invoice, and on payment you receive the download
and a named-user record for your file.
- Adding a seat later is a follow-up request; there is no self-service seat
portal, and this page does not pretend there is one.
What a team licence does not include
- No resale, sublicensing, or redistribution rights
- No training, onboarding, or consulting hours
- No access to unreleased products
- No support commitment beyond the ordinary one on the contact page
- No change to the product licence you hold today
If what you actually want is an outside pair of eyes on one site rather than files for your team, the Website Launch & Conversion Review is the other request to make.
