What you need
Claude Code, installed and logged in. Per Anthropic’s documentation that requires a Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise, or Console account — the free Claude.ai plan does not include Claude Code. Git and a terminal you are comfortable in. Nothing else.
You do not need to be a professional developer. You do need to be willing to read what Claude produces and push back when it is wrong; the system is built around that habit.
Licence
One person, unlimited projects, including paid client work. You may modify anything and keep everything you produce with it. You may not redistribute, resell, or repackage the files themselves. Full terms are included in the download.

Per Anthropic's current documentation, Claude Code requires a Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise, or Console account — the free Claude.ai plan does not include Claude Code access. It can also run against Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud's Agent Platform, or Microsoft Foundry. Anthropic changes plans and features regularly, so check code.claude.com/docs before relying on this.
